Who are we?

We are OR Unplugged, a collective action based non-profit dedicated to the belief that every child deserves a safe, healthy, and distraction-free childhood.

OR Unplugged brings together parents and advocates from across the state to learn, collaborate, build community, and take action. Here you’ll find like-minded parents and community members eager to build a brighter future for our kids.

What We Do:

• Raise awareness about the harms of screen time.

• Support collective action and coalition building.

• Encourage legislative safeguards to protect kids from the harms of screen time.

Our dream is to restore childhoods full of:

• Face-to-face connections with family, friends, and community.

• Nature, imagination, and free play

• Developmentally appropriate challenges & independence
